Indo-Africa Expo

The Indo-Africa ICT Expo in Lagos, Nigeria has come to an end with VNL's participation at the event turning out to be a resounding success. One of the main highlights of the event for us was being presented with the Indo-Africa ICT Award for the "Best Wireless Innovations for Rural Communication". This re-affirms our belief in the mission to connect all rural geographies to a #BiggerWorld. We are grateful for all the support we have received from our clients and partners.

During the event, VNL's team concluded a series of successful meetings with top influencers for Africa. A notable conversation around enabling Digital Villages across Nigeria took place with Hon. Telecom Minister, Barr. Abdul Raheem Adebayo Shittu. Similarly Deputy Telecom Minister for Ghana, Hon. Vincent Odotei Sowah was quite impressed with VNL's solutions.

Significant interest was shown by potential partners for the regions of Rwanda, Malawi and Nigeria. Leading system integrators participating at the Expo, claimed that VNL's rural network solution has immediate application in villages across not just the country but the entire African continent.

Our journey to Lagos to participate at the ICT Expo 2017 concludes another successful leg of the #ZeroDistanceProject under which we are constantly striving to eliminate the distance between people and progress. VNL's successfully proven Digital Village model can be replicated across all underserved regions in Africa in a short span of time!
